PG-43: Music

8. Let's Go On-line

(PG-43)
Of course we Boomers didn't have the Internet to help us spark in our early years, but we got along just fine without it, thank you, including finding the mate of our dreams. However, we may have watched our children take to it as casually as using the telephone. Seems to have turned out quite well for a lot of them. Watch someone "Go On-line sometime and be astonished at how the whole process works. You'll see that there are a lot of good people using practical technology to find happiness. It will also reinforce your belief that there is nothing out there as good as what you've already linked up with.
LYRICS

If you're searching for that special someone and need to proceed with caution
Listen up cause I know just the place
Boot-up and log on to Love.Com - Profile your traits but leave out some
Then look for your next date in cyberspace

Let's go on line - Don't be shy - The internet is worth a try
You can take a chance and never take the risk
I'll wink at you and you can wink at me - And if we both like what we see
We'll go beyond this forty-gig hard disk

Now this one could be a match for me - She likes to cook and I like to eat
She loves the outdoors and I don't own a home
She's tall and rich and a college grad - Matching one out of three ain't bad
I'll wink and see if my height turns her on

Let's go on line - Don't be shy - The internet is worth a try
You can take a chance and never take the risk
I'll wink at you and you can wink at me - And if we both like what we see
We'll go beyond this forty-gig hard disk

She agreed to see me just to talk, she'd take her dog out for a walk
And meet me at the Ground Rule coffee shop
I'll sneak a peak before we start - If I can't tell her and the dog apart
I'm out of there and back to my laptop

Let's go on line - Don't be shy - The internet is worth a try
You can take a chance and never take the risk
I'll wink at you and you can wink at me - And if we both like what we see
We'll go beyond this forty-gig hard disk

I'll link and wink until my megahertz
