PG-43: Music

2. Chipette Off the Old Blockette

(PG-43)
Sometimes the female is the dominant gender. When a father recognizes this in his daughter, he is bound by the code of men to at least warn the unsuspecting prospective son-in-law. Of course it is easy for Dad to recognize this situation when it is quite evident that he's watching a rerun of his own courtship. He can't very well run off the poor boy in those circumstances, now can he?
LYRICS

Hey Buddy, let me warn you about my daughter
You shouldn't bite off more than you can chew
She's pretty like her mama but there's more than meets the eye
And I'll tell you why I know just what she'll do

She's a chipette off the old blockette
And nobody's found a way to change her yet
Don't know I would if I could
Cause when I look I see
A girl just like the one that married me

One thing you need to know about my daughter
She's smarter than a young girl ought to be
She knows just how to get to you with all her wily ways
The same way her mama got to me

She's a chipette off the old blockette
And nobody's found a way to change her yet
Don't know I would if I could
Cause when I look I see
A girl just like the one that married me

She speaks in body language when she wants you to agree
She'll melt you with her blue-eyed tears to win your sympathy
But one way or another she's gonna win you'll see
That stubborn streak is all she got from me

But one way or another she's gonna win you'll see
That stubborn streak is all she got from me

She's a chipette off the old blockette
And nobody's found a way to change her yet
Don't know I would if I could
Cause when I look I see
A girl just like the one that married me

She's just like the girl that married me
