PG-43: Music

1. I'd Write a Song

(PG-43)
Ah, the power of a song. The pen is mightier than the sword. Add melody to the words and you've created the magic of music. A song can take you where only your imagination would wander. A profession of love in musical verse bears witness to a sincerity that can't be denied. And a song can bridge the gap between cultures. Music is a language that reminds everyone that we do indeed have something in common. Listen to a song that strikes a chord with you and you'll be singing it all day in your mind. That's good, for it's practically impossible to be negative in any way while singing a song.
LYRICS

If I could only do one thing - I'd write a song
Where I can see the world and take you along
We could scale the icy mountaintops, conquer the seven seas
Feel the wind around my gondola skimming the autumn trees
Watch the dew baptize the flowers blooming wildly in the spring
If I could only do one thing - I'd write a song

If I needed to win your love - I'd write a song
To tell you in my arms' where you belong
I'd say you make my heart pound like a stormy ocean shore
And how my aching love for you would last forever more
And that your beauty must have been a gift sent from above
If I needed to win your love - I'd write a song

I'd write a song that gives you goose bumps with its chilling harmony
Tells a story that will make you think you shared your dreams with me
Then you'd find, in your mind, you just can't help but sing
If I could only do one thing - I'd write a song

If I wanted to change the world - I'd write a song
A message wrapped in melody is strong
I'd sing the praise of brotherhood, broadcast it through the air
From peasantry to royalty they'd hear me everywhere
They'll see my dream of peace with a common flag unfurled
If I wanted to change the world - I'd write a song

I'd write a song that gives you goose bumps with its chilling harmony
Tells a story that will make you think you shared your dreams with me
Then you'd find , in your mind, aw ya just can't help but sing
If I could only do one thing - I'd write a song

If I could only do one thing - I'd write a song
